Everyone experiences Tasmania differently, and I want you to have the information you need to decide whether an Off The Leash experience is right for you.

Because my Private Tours and Silent Disco Walking Tours are quite different, accessibility varies between experiences. If you have specific access requirements, please get in touch before booking. I’m always happy to chat about what you need and what I can reasonably do to make your experience more comfortable.

Private Tours

One of the advantages of a private tour is flexibility. There’s no busload of strangers to keep up with and no rigid schedule, so I can often adjust the day to suit the people travelling with me.

Depending on your individual needs, this may include:

  • Door-to-door pick-up and drop-off

  • Adjusting the pace of the day

  • Allowing additional time to enter or exit the vehicle

  • Including additional rest or bathroom stops

  • Choosing venues and attractions with suitable accessibility

  • Reducing the amount of walking required

  • Accommodating dietary requirements

  • Adjusting music volume or limiting car-a-oke if sensory needs require it

  • Discussing mobility aids and available vehicle storage before your tour

My usual touring vehicle is not wheelchair accessible and does not have a wheelchair lift. If you use a wheelchair or mobility aid, please contact me before booking so we can discuss your requirements and whether I can provide a suitable experience.

Because itineraries are personalised, accessibility can also be considered when we're planning your day.

Silent Disco Walking Tours

Silent Disco Walking Tours are active outdoor experiences through public spaces in Hobart and other locations.

Guests wear wireless headphones and walk, dance and interact with the group along the route. You absolutely don't need to be a great dancer — but you do need to be comfortable moving through public spaces for the duration of the experience.

Routes may include footpaths, road crossings, slopes, uneven surfaces and areas where seating is limited.

The experience relies heavily on music and audio delivered through headphones, which may mean it is not suitable for some guests who are Deaf or hard of hearing. Guests with sensory sensitivities should also be aware that the experience includes music, group activity and changing surroundings.
